I’ve been in talks with the studio’s lawyer and a studio-sent contractor is coming over today to assess the kitchen and see if the studio should pay to have the work redone. I am still trying to get them to adjust the taxes. I just want this to be over! It has taken up so much time and mental energy. I’m sick of it.

Matt’s promotion came through finally! He got a 10% raise and a new title. He’s working double shifts this week and next because his coworker is in Thailand so he’s gone from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM. It’s weird having him come home so late, normally he’s home by 4. The upside is that his next few paychecks should be great between the raise and the working all these extra hours.

Besides that, not much going on. It’s freakishly damp and chilly out and the dogs are getting restless. Sunday we are going to Sheep & Wool with a friend mostly to look at the sheep. I want to put some tomato plants in (we’ve already planted three blueberry bushes and some giant sunflowers this year) but it is so chilly and the yard is a swamp I’ve had to put it off.
