I am posting this over at Food Maven but I thought some of you might be interested:
I am a big fan of Threadless, a site where you can submit your t-shirt ideas to be voted on and possibly turned into shirts. They have a bunch of really fun food related shirts including the one shown above, this one featuring a vending machine, the Fruit of Negativitree with angry fruit, the super cute Nothing Rhymes with Orange, Cookie Loves Milk (which I am getting for Christmas/Hanukkah along with Loch Ness Imposter), two different shirts for meat eaters, one with bread spreading itself with jelly and a silly cupcake, the slightly blasphemous Fast Supper. You are sure to find something for everyone. Best of all: women, men and children’s shirts are all just $10 today and tomorrow. The only catch? When they are gone, they’re gone!
Thanks for all the yummy ideas for craft night. I am definitely making some sort of dip and maybe some homemade chips. We have a lot of tortillas and wonton wrappers that might make good chip/cracker type things. We bought tons of club soda and tonic at the store today which should help some with the drink situation. Matt was thinking maybe mulled wine? That might be festive. One of the guests offered to bring drinks too, so that will help.
Wish me luck on my interview! I found pants today (for only $21 on clearance!) at the first store, on the first try. We were expecting a pants shopping marathon but I lucked out. I hope it’s an omen of things to come. We ended up being able to get tons done today: we bought pants, picked up some paper plates and things at Joann Fabrics (already 50% off) and some bags to pack candy in and still had time to go grocery shopping for ingredients to make burritos and marshmallow as well as stuff for the rest of the week. And we got some cleaning down around the house for craft night and Matt’s sister’s visit this weekend.
