Well, Julie has gone and seems to have broken the bad guest curse (you may remember our dreadful guest luck from this past Memorial Day and 4th of July) at last. Hopefully this means that future overnight guest will remain the pleasant people we remembered them as and not turn into raving lunatics. It was a short trip but we had time to eat vegan brownies with friends, watch my new favorite Japanese movie and catch up. We also made some yummy meals together, introduced Julie to quesadillas (when you live in India, your exposure to certain types of food is limited) and all in all had a good time. Julie was a great guest: good stories (she sat next to Leonard Cohen at temple during a recent trip to LA) and she consistently washed dishes. That’s all we ask in a guest really! I am happy she came and look forward to seeing her the next time she is stateside.
