When I was little, I frequently would get sick on the holidays. I remember the Easter I was three being so woozy and feverish I could hardly stand, much less try out my new Strawberry Shortcake tricycle. I kind of thought I outgrew that but then this year, I was too sick to go to NYC for Thanksgiving and my mom came and brought me food and then I was just sick on Christmas too! On Monday I had a fever of about 102 degrees and though I made a yummy cake, we stayed home from Christmas too! My mom came over with food and stockings (which she tied to the staircase with care) and candy for us. It is starting to be a regular thing with me. I feel a bit better now, and oddly, I was just feverish, uncomfortable and achy-no sore throat, no real cough, no runny nose.

I too tend to get sick at the most inconvient times. I got a nice cold for Christmas this year. I still feel pretty crappy but I think I am at the end of the funk. I hope you are feeling better soon.

I seem to have that same problem! I almost always get a cold or something for the holidays (and for some reason, a certain “visitor” always seems to come around holidays too).
Hope you feel better soon!
