Today is my first Friday off and I got up even earlier than I normally get up when I go to work and it was all in vain. My mom has been wanting to make a trip to the “new” Wegmans for ages now. It’s pretty far from her house (maybe an hour?) and she thought it would be fun to go together since I live halfway between here and there. We finally made the date to go today. She was going to come here at 8:30 AM, go over Tupperware stuff and then drive to Wegmans, shop, eat lunch come back. Wegmans is a good 1/2 hour away, so that would take up the majority of the morning/afternoon.

 Anyway, she got up this morning, saw a bad weather report, decided to cancel the whole thing and waited until 8 AM to tell me. After I cleaned the house, crammed all of the work I needed to do today into Wednesday, got library books together (she offered to take them back for me since the the library is about 1/2 hour in the other direction, near her house) and got up at the crack of dawn.

It isn’t even raining here. It had been freezing rain briefly, then rain, then by 8, nothing. So frustrating. She also has some books for me so now I will have to go to her house and the library sometime this weekend and I still have to go grocery shopping and what I need is at Wegmans. Or maybe H Mart. So now I have to make a special trip to one of two far away stores, when I could have just gone earlier in the week when I was right near the Weg. Which isn’t the worse thing in the world, but it just drags what I could have gotten done in a single morning into a 2-3 day affair. And it isn’t even raining!
