There seems to be months were nothing happens and we barely leave the house, then we go through a phase where we are almost over booked. February was really busy and March is shaping up to be the same- a lot of odd little things that take up a lot of time.
Last week we got Pippi (hard to believe that this time last week I didn’t even know she existed!) . Saturday we went to see Dengue Fever (great show but a lot of standing- can you believe that my back still hurts after my fall near Valentine’s Day?) then yesterday we went to a park down in Annapolis where the dogs really had a good time. There’s a dog park and trails that go right to the water and it was a lot of fun and not too cold. Today we have to take the dogs to $2 rabies shots all the way across town and to visit with my mom. Tomorrow Pippi has a vet appointment, then on Wednesday and Thursday we are having contractors to the house to give estimates for what was done/broken by THH. We’re going to submit it to the studio and hope for a check that will cover fixing all the subpar work. Friday night we are going to NYC (cross your fingers that all three dogs behave themselves) and hopefully staying until Monday and going to a cupcake meet up in Queens on Sunday. So that puts us into next week before we have an uninterrupted, unscheduled day. But, I do like getting things done all at once and getting them over with.

That stinks that you have to get bids on fixing the work from THH. Has the show aired yet?
It does seem like that busy/not busy thing happens to everyone.

the show aired like in January, they didn’t even tell us when!
and the counter isn’t level, the drawers/doors are warped and they didn’t put the floor down under the appliances so it is peeling up. awful awful experience. oh, and they broke my lazy susan.
