That I feel busier working from home than I did when I was working part time? I think I am trying to cram a lot more things in and some more opprotunities have become available-more about that later. I have also been trying to really stay on task when I am home, it is all work, work, let the dogs out, work so I can be pretty much done with things by the time Matt gets home at 4. We’ve both been getting up before 6AM, which is actually pretty good for me, I get more work done between 6:30-9 than I do the rest of the day because the dogs go back to sleep and require little attention from me.
It is nice to be home when people call and to be able to get right back to people! Just in the last 3 weeks I’ve had 2 interviews for NY newspapers about various holiday foods, taped a segment about Spring food for NPR and was just published in some Bulgarian magazine- all of which would have been tricky to schedule if I had been working. And I also did pretty well with ad sales this month, even took on a new client who paid up front! And my proposal in the final stages. So I don’t want to jinx it but it seems like this working at home thing might actually have been a good idea. Not to mention how much happier and better feeling I am staying home all day!
Pippi is doing well too. She is adjusting to the other dogs and is pretty much house-trained. She has finally made the connection that if she tries to tell me something (like “I need to go outside”, “I need more water”) I will notice and help which has made a huge difference.

Seriously! It is like more work when you are working from home… but it’s so much better, isn’t it?
Glad the pup is happy and settled.
